TORONTO, ON October 15, 2010--As competitive FPS fans eagerly await the arrival
of Clan Mode to Mission Against Terror next week, Wicked Interactive pulled out
yet another surprise today when it announced a new 1v1 ladder for its popular free-to-play
shooter M.A.T. that is chock-full of prizes and fun for gamers of every skill level,
particularly those who enjoy their fragging with a healthy side order of competitive
play.
Beginning this weekend and running through the end of the year, M.A.T. will become
the scene of fierce Deathmatch ladder competition where the only winner is the last
man standing. As with M.A.T.'s other team-based competition, this "End of the Year,
End of the World" ladder will be hosted by World Online Gaming League, a leading
eSports community.
In addition to a generous prize pool, the event is mandatory for serious shooter
fans because at the end of each week, the top gamer will be profiled. Of course,
the information revealed is up to the gamer, but for those who aren't bashful, there's
a Skype video chat interview & written interview with your name on it.
