What is 9 Dragons?

9 Dragons is a martial arts themed MMORPG set in China during the Ming Dynasty. Embark on a journey through real world locations that constantly evolve with the player. Meticulous attention has been paid to the authenticity of the weapons, costumes and character abilities for historical accuracy. Featuring 5 unique character classes and 6 clans, numerous possibilities await the player in how they choose to progress their skills and abilities. Both, player versus player and player versus environment modes are available, as well as the option to join communities known as Hero Bands. Whether you choose the life of a Vagabond and play solo or join a clan, an unforgettable experience awaits. Choose your destiny and become the hero of the land!

I already have a Suba Games account. Do I need to make another account to play 9 Dragons?

Nope! Your main Suba Games account is good for ALL Suba Game titles, including 9 Dragons.

Can I play as a male character? Can I play as a female character?

Yes and yes! You can choose to play as a male or female character and customize yourself with numerous accessories and clothing options.

How many classes are there?

There are a total of 5 distinct classes. They include: Warriors (specialized in close-quarter melee combat), Strategists (primarily healers and buffers), Chi Kung Artists (focused on long range attacks), Holists (a hybrid class that is able to learn various abilities of all 3 classes) and Vagabonds (a clan-less class that is limited in the number of physical abilities and skills that can be learned, but have other advantages available to them not present to other classes).

What about clans? What are the main categories?

There are currently a total 6 clans. They are made up of the White clans: Wu Tang , Shaolin, The League of Beggars and the Black clans: Heavenly Demon, Sacred Flower and The Brotherhood of Thieves. In addition, there are 3 advanced clans that are planned to be released in the future: Black Dragon Clan, Disciples of Iron Fist and the Union of Noble Families.

Is there PVP or specific battle areas?

Absolutely! There are PvP centric locations that reward victorious players with Karma (which can later be used to upgrade their abilities.

Are there different locations / regions to travel to?

Yes! Many of the areas you will journey to are in fact based off of real world locations formed during the Ming Dynasty such as the Great Wall of China and the Shaolin Monastery.

How does the character level system work in 9 Dragons?

9 Dragons features a unique leveling system. It is divided into 20 tiers: each tier has 12 sub-levels known as Chengs. You receive 4 Chi Points / 1 Mastery Point per sub-level increase and 6 Chi Points / 3 Mastery Points per tier.

What weapon equips are available in 9 Dragons?

There are a variety of swords, daggers, pole arms, spears, and staffs to name but a few.

Are there guilds in the game?

Yes! In 9 Dragons, you may join Hero Bands, which are essentially communities made up of 40 members or less. The Band Master is responsible for selecting up to 10 Band Leaders and may choose to form an alliance with other Hero Bands (Alliances support up to 5 Hero Bands).

Can you play with people from all over the world?

Unfortunately, our server is specific to the European market only.

What is the maximum resolution?

Our current max resolution is 1680 x 1050 (with the option to drag the windowed version to be as large as you want), but this could change with the next version we receive!
